“Since the early 2000s, my work has involved the creation of conceptually based abstract 3D forms. In them, I reconstruct the architecture, representative symbols and calligraphy that are part of my culture, as well as the natural forms that are universal. My work also addresses the questioning of the transcendental idea within the borders of mass vs void, time vs eternity, object vs subject, and natural vs man made. I work on several sculptures concurrently and name all ARK’s believing they inform or cross pollinate each other. Also I believe integrally related “space” in all ARK's establishes an interactive creative quality, suggesting the perceiver to fill in the blanks for the content and interpretation."
